Are you on the barangay register?

The Record of Barangay Inhabitants is the roll of everybody living in Montealegre. It is what the barangay counts from, plans from and issues certificates against. Type your name and your birthday and this page will tell you whether you are on it — and whether anything against your name was left blank. If something is missing, or the register has never heard of you, you can send your details from here instead of queueing. The barangay secretary checks everything sent this way before any of it is written down.

Record of Barangay Inhabitants

Form No. BMA-04
Rev. 2026

Your name, and the day you were born

Both have to be right at once, or nothing comes back — and a wrong answer is one answer, never two. That is what keeps the register from being read down a name at a time by anybody who feels like it.

First name *

Middle name

Last name *

Suffix

Date of birth *

The only thing this page reads out of your record is whether to address you as Mr. or Ms. Beyond that it can say that you are on the register and which boxes against your name are empty, and it can carry your answers to the barangay secretary. What you send goes to the barangay secretary, not into the register: it cannot read the rest of your record out, change anything already written there, or put anybody on the roll by itself — a person at the barangay hall does that, after checking with you.

Why your birthday as well

A name on its own is a question anybody can ask about anybody. Asking for both means somebody who does not already know you learns nothing here, and a run of wrong answers from one connection is turned away for a while.

If the register does not have you

An ñ typed as an n is fine, and so is a hyphen, a full stop or an extra space — the page looks past all of those. Your date of birth has to be exactly right.
Check the spelling next. The register holds your name as it was written down — try it the way it appears on your ID, and try it with and without your middle name.
If it still misses, you can send your details from here and ask to be added. That is a request rather than a registration: who belongs on the roll is the barangay's own determination, and the secretary settles it after speaking to you.
Leave a mobile number you actually answer. It is how the barangay hall checks what you sent, and nothing is written down until it has.

Religion and PWD status

Both are sensitive personal information under the Data Privacy Act, and both are yours to give or withhold — the boxes say so, and a blank is a perfectly good answer. They are asked here because the barangay is asked, often, for the list of residents a particular programme is meant to reach. Neither is written by this page: like everything else sent from here, they wait for the secretary. Whether you are pregnant is not asked online at all.
